Bohokiwi was founded by two Kiwi women with a passion for sustainability and making everyday life easier for families. Phillipa, a single mother of three, understands firsthand the challenges of managing periods on a tight budget. She is an active member of her local community and has built strong connections with mothers' groups, advocating for sustainable and practical solutions for women and families.

Justine, an entrepreneur based in Tokyo, has been a long-time advocate for eco-friendly products and sustainable living. Having spent more than 20 years travelling the world, she witnessed period poverty firsthand, inspiring her to join forces with Phillipa to create Bohokiwi.
