Our Glyde Swim Safety Tow Float is the perfect companion for all swimmers, providing added safety both in the water and on land. This essential safety device features a waterproof dry storage compartment along with an inflatable chamber to keep it afloat at all times. It also gives you something secure to hold onto if you become tired or run into difficulty while swimming.
Not all tow floats are created equal.
Many will drag behind you, bounce across the surface, or swing side-to-side and interfere with your stroke — usually because of poor design. We know swimming, and we’ve specifically engineered this float to ride cleanly and quietly on the water behind you. Set it up correctly and you’ll barely know it’s there.
For best performance, wear it close to your lower back and keep the leash short and snug, not long and loose. This simple adjustment makes a world of difference to stability, comfort, and swim efficiency.

The float is designed to support your weight when you need to rest during your swim. Available in four bright colours, it offers outstanding visibility in the water so boats, jet skis, windsurfers, and other fast-moving water users can easily see you and keep clear of your area.
How to Use
Place your belongings inside the dry bag (e.g. shoes, towels, valuables, energy bar, sunglasses, etc.). Roll the top down four times to create a watertight seal. Inflate the float by blowing into the valve, then twist the valve cap closed. Attach the belt around your waist and head off for your swim.
When you need a rest, simply grab the float, lie on your back, hold it against your chest, and relax while you float.
If you are carrying special or sensitive items, we recommend placing them inside an additional waterproof sealed bag or container. While these are dry bags, condensation can still occur when inside and outside temperatures create moisture.
If condensation does occur and the bag deflates slightly, simply open the valve and re-inflate at any time.
