Product Description
The FINIS Lap Track does exactly that, acts as an underwater lap counter and timer - a swimmer's own personal pace clock! The clear 6" by 6" display allows a swimmer to keep track of split times, calories burned, and of course, number of laps, all while continuously swimming.
The Lap Track fits on most all pool decks as there are various ways of which the unit can be mounted. Included with the packaging is all the necessary set-up equipment: 2 pairs of suction cups (for different sizes tiles), an attachable platform with extenders for use in pools that aren't tiled, and a carrying bag that doubles as a water weight to stabilize the base of the extenders. The Lap Track comes ready-to-use with 2 AAA batteries and no need for additional operating equipment purchases.
Lap Track Function Overview:
The daily Clock portion of the unit has every basic function one can ask for in a timing device, including but not limited to: display of the day, date, and time (in 2 differing time zones), as well as up to three daily alarms.
The Lap Timer function is packed full of information - the number of laps completed, total time elapsed, as well as the completion time of the most recent lap.
When using the Lap Counter function, the swimmer can either set a fixed number of desired laps or set the laps to zero and count up (50 laps of which can be stored). If the Lap Track is programmed to count down from the desired figure, the timer will stop when the pre-set laps are completed.
Also the Lap Chrono function has the ability to record lap splits and produce calories burned estimates. As one swims, the unit will count time, distance, and compare lap times for up to 50 laps - a "lap" being two lengths of the pool (down and then back to the same side of the pool where the Lap Track is located). The user personalizes the unit to achieve this date by simply entering their weight and total lap distance... the Lap Track does the rest!
